{"id":417,"date":"2025-03-06T13:06:47","date_gmt":"2025-03-06T12:06:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/snic.tech\/?page_id=417"},"modified":"2025-03-06T13:10:31","modified_gmt":"2025-03-06T12:10:31","slug":"charte-rse","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/snic.tech\/en\/charte-rse\/","title":{"rendered":"Corporate Social Responsibility Charter \u2013 SNIC TECHNOLOGIES GROUP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This CSR Charter, signed by the directors of SNIC TECHNOLOGIES Group and each of its \nsubsidiaries, applies to all employees of SNIC TECHNOLOGIES Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1 \u2013 Role of the Charter<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This CSR Charter represents the Group&#039;s commitment to conducting its business in\ncompliance with applicable laws and demanding ethical standards to manage physical or\nmoral risks in the workplace, as well as industrial, environmental, or legal risks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It serves as a guide for identifying and addressing ethical issues, providing a mechanism for\nidentifying and assessing any illegal conduct or conduct contrary to ethical principles, and\nfostering a culture of honesty and responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In case of doubt regarding the application of a principle, each employee is encouraged to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Consult their hierarchical supervisor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Act in a manner they consider exemplary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2 \u2013 Our Values<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&gt;&gt; Simplicity<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Act efficiently and quickly. Always keep in mind the final use of our products and systems and the benefits they provide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3 \u2013 Compliance with Legality and Human Rights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>SNIC TECHNOLOGIES Group operates in compliance with the laws and regulations that\napply in the countries in which it operates. Therefore, any practice or behavior likely to\nconstitute a violation of these texts and result in disciplinary or legal sanctions must be\nrefused. No violation of human rights, no breach of child labor rules, and no act of corruption\nwill be tolerated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4 \u2013 Ethical Principles of Action<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>a. <strong>Protecting SNIC TECHNOLOGIES Group Personnel<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol style=\"list-style-type:lower-alpha\" class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The personnel of SNIC TECHNOLOGIES Group are its primary asset. The Group must protect its personnel, essential for the development of its\nactivities, and ensure that everyone performs their duties in a healthy, safe, and harmonious environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>We must :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&gt;&gt; Guarantee working conditions that respect regulations, human rights, and the dignity of each individual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&gt;&gt; Ensure compliance with the rules applicable to hygiene, safety, and working conditions for all personnel.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&gt;&gt; Treat each of our employees fairly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&gt;&gt; Demand from ourselves and others a behavior that guarantees respect for individuals, their privacy, and their differences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&gt;&gt; Support the group's commitment to diversity and equal opportunities, and be particularly vigilant to prevent and stop discrimination related to sex, age, health status, disability, real or supposed membership of an ethnicity, race, nation, religion, sexual orientation, physical\nappearance, or union activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&gt;&gt; Ensure the welcome and proper integration of new employees by informing them of the values and principles of action set out in the code of ethics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>We must not :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&gt;&gt; Engage in or tolerate behaviors or statements that could be qualified as psychological or sexual harassment, discrimination, or sexist acts, whether at the time of hiring or in any decisions regarding training, promotion, and more generally, working conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&gt;&gt; Engage in or tolerate devaluing or insulting behaviors or statements (of a racist, sexist, homophobic nature, etc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>b. <strong>Business Ethics<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol style=\"list-style-type:lower-alpha\" class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>SNIC TECHNOLOGIES Group and all its personnel must maintain ethical behavior towards their counterparts and prohibit any form of corruption or influence peddling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>We must :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&gt;&gt; Strictly observe international conventions (in particular, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development \u2013 OECD Convention) as well as national provisions (French laws, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act in the United States, the UK Bribery Act 2010 in the United Kingdom, etc.), which prohibit all forms of corruption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&gt;&gt; Absolutely refuse any form of corruption, including the offer or acceptance of gifts or advantages to obtain or grant an individual favor,\nsuch as the payment of a favorable intervention by an intermediary with a decision-making authority or aimed at circumventing, simplifying, or shortening administrative, customs, or tax formalities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&gt;&gt; In case of doubt, conduct evaluation procedures to verify that our partners and commercial intermediaries act legally and honestly. In case of serious suspicions, we accept to lose a deal, not to contract with a supplier or intermediary, or to terminate a contract.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>We must not :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&gt;&gt; Solicit or accept payment, gift, or advantage from a supplier, service provider, or candidate in exchange for a decision or behavior that would be unduly favorable to them: favoritism to award them a contract, authorization, position, privilege, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&gt;&gt; Offer or give payment, gift, or advantage to a public official or partner in exchange for a decision or behavior that would be unduly favorable to us: favoritism to obtain a contract, authorization, position, privilege, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>c. <strong>Fight Against Fraud<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Fraud is an intentional act that consists of deliberately deceiving others to obtain an illegitimate benefit or to circumvent legal obligations or professional rules. It is characterized in particular by either outright theft of the company's funds, securities, or goods, or by maneuvers of concealment or falsification of documents aimed at unduly obtaining said funds, securities, or goods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>We must not :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&gt;&gt; Cheat on the quantity of services, supplies, or work necessary to obtain undue compensation from service providers or suppliers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&gt;&gt; Destroy supporting documents, falsify entries or accounting or bank documents, omit a mandatory formality to conceal an illegality or\npersonal profit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>d. <strong>Avoid Conflicts of Interest<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>We can all, regardless of our functions and hierarchical level, find ourselves in a conflict of interest situation if an interest of our own may be in contradiction with an objective and impartial exercise of our professional responsibilities.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This interest may be, for example: a personal link, a hope of gain or advantage for us or for relatives, or the acceptance of a gift that gives us the feeling of being indebted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>We must :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&gt;&gt; Identify, before they occur, risk situations, for example: will we take part for the Group in a decision in an area where we have financial\ninterests, personal ties with a supplier or service provider, a public authority, an association, a recruitment candidate, etc.?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&gt;&gt; Declare these situations transparently to our hierarchical supervisor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>We must not :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&gt;&gt; Participate in any supplier or service provider selection process when there are personal ties (kinship, friendship, etc.) with a manager of that supplier or service provider participating in that process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&gt;&gt; Use our authority to influence group decisions to obtain an undue advantage (financial or otherwise) for ourselves, a member of our family, or a natural or legal person with whom we are linked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>e. <strong>Protect Confidential Information and Personal Data<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\" class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The information we hold as part of our missions does not belong to us. It is the property of SNIC TECHNOLOGIES Group or third parties and may be of significant value.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before transmitting this information or revealing its content to colleagues or third parties, it is necessary to question the status of this information, its strategic nature or not, its degree of sensitivity, and the legitimacy of the colleague or third party to receive it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>We must :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&gt;&gt; Protect the confidential information of our customers, service providers, or suppliers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&gt;&gt; Protect the know-how, economic, commercial, or strategic information, and technical data of the Group, in particular by respecting the rules of use and dissemination of this information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&gt;&gt; Observe the legal rules relating to the use of data enabling the identification of natural persons (employees, suppliers, service providers, partners, or customers), the security of this data, its transmission, and its retention period, as ignorance of these rules may give rise to criminal sanctions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>We must not :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&gt;&gt; Disclose, in any form whatsoever, the elements of a patent or trademark, and more generally any element of intellectual property belonging to SNIC TECHNOLOGIES Group and strictly protected as\nsuch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Communicate our identifiers and passwords for our professional IT or digital tools to unauthorized colleagues or third parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Transmit the personal data of employees, suppliers, service providers, and partners to colleagues or third parties who are not authorized to know or use them for unauthorized purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>f. <strong>Reducing Our Environmental Footprint<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Whenever possible and proportionate, SNIC TECHNOLOGIES Group must implement actions aimed at reducing its environmental impact.
